Trail Moraro

The trail to Moraro begins from your home, but the walk starts from Yarishrima landing.

Time: about 30-45 mins.
Distance: 3 miles (approximately)
Getting there: Boat from Charity, Amazon
Start Point: Yarishrima Landing
End Point: Moraro
Suitable for: Hiking, Trail Running, Dog walking
Fitness Level: It is advisable that you are of a high fitness level.

This walk begins from Yarishrima Landing past through the community football field and by the community centre. It passes through the primary school yard and passes near to the health clinic building. It also passes by a church building.

It's only past the church that the trail takes on it's forest nature. Generally, the going is smooth and on level ground, except for areas of tractor tyre indentations, which can be filled with water and become soggy during the rainy season.

There is a slight decline as you approach Moraro creek and ascent as you walk away from the creek. You will pass through Uncle Seaaford's Moraro coconut grove and through the protected forest before reaching Moraro.
